About the College

It is our purpose to carry out the great commission as recorded in Mark 16:15-20 and Matthew 28 19-20. We are committed to prepare our students to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to people all over the world, thereby producing converts and disciples. We strive to do our very best to train and equip you adequately to be and to produce disciples for Jesus.
Anchor Bible College was established in 2007 and founded Pastor Jonathan Cook.

Dr. Jonathon Cook

Founder & President
Dr. Johnathan Cook was raised and taught by the late and beloved Pastor Johnny Cook . Tiffany Cook, his wife, and Dr. J. Cook together have raised their 3 daughters in eastern North Carolina.  Dr. J. Cook, is the Founder and Sr. Pastor of The Sanctuary of Jacksonville Church for 20 years; as well as, the President and Founder of Anchor Bible College.4
